I live and work in a north suburb of Atlanta by day, and taxi teenage children the rest of the time. I have been blessed by two terrific families, one by birth and one by marriage. I am thankful for the company that each has given me on my journey so far. I have also met some of the most incredible women along the road. Several friends have encouraged me to write some of my funny stories down over the years. So, I finally am sharing some of the craziness that lives in my life and in my head. I hope you enjoy it and come back to visit often!

Hey Deb! Love your Pity Party post. Great insight from the wisest man who ever lived. Hope all is well
Hi Debbie: I found you on Katybeth’s blog and was intrigued at meeting another Debbie! Your Valentine’s Day post was beautiful — you’re so right in saying Valentine’s Day is for sissies but living out 1Cor13 is a lifelong challenge. Thanks for putting things in perspective!
Thanks for visiting. Noticed you are an “olemissDeb”. I am a Univ of Al Deb. Only in name and not at all a debutante!
You are one incredible chick! I have enjoyed your site and looking forward to more fun stories in the months to come.
Your mawmaw reminds me of my grandmother Ila McDaniel and now my own mother. Big meals and gatherings always seemed so effortless. It wasn’t fancy, just darn good and there was always enough food for an army. I never knew the trick to the squash was to put it in the skillet with butter after boiling it to death. ThNks, Debbie for the smile!
